General Rules

 

• A liability waiver must be signed in order to book/attend classes

• No food and drink other than water is allowed in the rooms. 

• Mobile phones must be kept on silent or turned off.

• No video cameras are allowed in Sizzle dance classes. 

• If you wish to take still photos, you must have the approval of everyone that will be in the photo(s).

• Arrive to classes on time. Late arrivals are disturbing to the class and instructors, and you may feel left behind.

• No spectators or audits allowed.

• Gay Men who desire to learn to dance in a feminine and sensual way, are welcome.

• No walk-ins. All classes are pre-registered online.

• No loitering after class. A class usually follows immediately after.

• Classes are offered at beginning, intermediate, and advance levels. Chose your class level to your best comfort. There are no refunds for choosing the wrong level.

• Students can sign up for a Sizzle dance class up to four hours before the class. 

• Students must be 18 and over to sign up for and attend classes.

• Classes are held at more than one location. Students are responsible for being attentive to their class details and making certain they arrive to their class at the right location. Refunds and credits are not given when a class is missed and attented late because the Student arrived at the wrong location.

• Office hours are 10:30 am-5pm.

• Prices, class times, instructors, and policies are all subject to change.

• If an Instructor is no longer available to teach a class, a substitute instructor may teach that class.

 

Payment

 

• Classes must be pre-registered on website.

• We accept all major credit cards.

• Unfortunately at this time, we are not set up to take cash payments, checks, or money orders, but we can accept gift cards from Visa, Master Card, and AMEX for your convenience. 

 

Discounts

 

• Discounts can not be applied to Sizzle private lessons.

• Discounts can not be applied to any multi-Sizzle Public Passes.

• Discounts up to 10% can be combined. No discounts greater than 10% can be combined.

• Multi-Sizzle Public Passes expire one year from date of purchase. Single Sizzle Public Passes expire six months from date of purchase

• Sizzle passes can not be shared.

• Third party vouchers (Groupon, Living Social, Life Booker, etc.) expire according to the fine print details listed on that voucher.

 

Deposits

 

• A 50% deposit is required for booking parties.

• All Deposits are non-refundable. 

• Balance for Parties are due on the day of your party at 11am or before it begins, whichever occurs first.

 

Refunds

 

• All refunds are subject to cancelation policies. 

• If Customer/Student has not yet signed up for a Sizzle dance and fitness class or workshop, Customer is eligible to receive a refund up to 15 days from date of purchase. This applies to Sizzle Public Passes only.

• No shows are not eligible to receive a refund nor a credit. 

• There are no refunds on Sizzle clothing and accessories.

• If you purchased through CourseHorse, then our Refund & Cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you are entitled to a refund, or have any questions, please contact CourseHorse.

 

 

Cancelations

 

• To receive cancelation updates and confirmations, you must opt in to receive emails on your mindbody online account. This is the account you use to register and sign up for Sizzle Dance Studio classes. If you arrive to a canceled class because you did not receive a cancelation email because you had not opt in to receive emails from us, Sizzle Dance Studio will not be held responsible.   

• ​If sign up attendance is low or an instructor is suddenly unavailable or if weather conditions are hazardous, Sizzle Dance Studio reserves the right to cancel the class. If you have registered for a canceled class, you will be notified by email and issued an automatic credit back to your Sizzle Public Pass purchase. Refunds are available upon request for Sizzle Public Pass (1 class) purchases that were applied to a canceled class. 

• Student cancelations for Sizzle dance and fitness classes and 50 min. Private Lessons must be canceled 48 hours before that class or appointment.

• Student cancelations for 1hr. and 40 min. Private Lessons must be canceled 72 hours before that scheduled appointment.

• Student cancelations for B-day/Bachelorette Parties must be canceled 1 week before that scheduled appointment.

• All on time student cancelations for Sizzle dance and fitness classes will receive an automatic credit back to their single or multi Sizzle Public Pass purchase. Refunds are available upon request for single class purchases that were applied to a canceled class,  If the purchase falls within the refund period at the time of cancelation. 

• All on time student cancelations for Private Lessons will receive an automatic credit back to their purchased Private Lesson or Sizzle Private Pass. Refunds are available upon request for single private lesson purchases that were applied to your canceled appointment.

• All on time student cancelations for B-day/ Bachelorette Parties will receive a refund for 50% of the total balance and a credit back for their 50% deposit.   

• Late cancelations for Sizzle dance and fitness classes are ineligible for refund, but may receive a credit back. If the credit back is used to sign up for another class, and that class is late canceled- that credit back becomes a charge and will no longer be valid for use. 

• Late cancelations for Private Lessons will receive an automatic credit back or refund upon request to your purchased single Private Lesson and an automatic credit back to your Sizzle Private Pass purchase. Credit backs and refunds are subject to a $30.00 late penalty fee for 50 min. single private lesson purchases and a $60.00 late penalty fee for 1hr. 40 min. single private lesson purchases that were applied to your canceled appointment.

• Late cancelations for B-day/Bachelorette Parties will receive a refund for 50% of the total balance and are ineligible for credit back for their deposit.     

•  B-day/ Bachelorette Parties and Private Lessons canceled on the day of are not eligible for credit back nor a refund.

• Students that sign up for a Sizzle dance class on the day of that class and then cancel, will receive an automatic credit back to their single or multi Sizzle Public Pass purchase. Full refunds are available upon request for single class purchases that were applied to a canceled class.

• All classes that are offered on a trial or promotional basis reserve the right to hold a credit card on file. If customer does not arrive to class, the card on file will be charged a $20 fee for the class.

 

Dress Code

 

• Nudity is not allowed.

• Dress however you feel most comfortable or however you feel most confident/sexy.

• Follow the what to wear guideline on the website for specific dress and shoe, and accessory requirements for each class.

• If you want to look like a Sizzle girl, you may purchase Sizzle dance wear attire.

• There is no refund on Sizzle wear. 

   

 

Parties and Private Lessons.

 

• You may purchase a private lesson or party online, however to book an appointment date and time, you must call (646) 581-7229 or send an email to sizzledanceinfo@gmail.com. Include your request appointment time, class, and number of people.
